Erasmus Outgoing

The competition for Erasmus study stays take place once a year, typically in March. Information about Erasmus stays can be found at University sites here and in student Intranet. If you have questions, please contact the Department Erasmus coordinator Tomáše Hejduka (tomas.hejduk@upce.cz).

Under Erasmus, there are two types of study travels, study stays and traineeships. 

1. Study stays

Stays during which the students study and gains credits at one of the partner institutions of the department (it is possible to use the partner agreements of other departments as well). 

The Department of Philosophy has Erasmus exchange contracts with the following departments:

2. Traineeship

Apart from classic Erasmus study stays with partner institutions, it is also possible to go  for a research stay under Erasmus+ Traineeship, in which you yourself find a hosting researcher at the foreign institution. This stay is very convenient for writing BA or MA thesis. Traineeships are not confined to existing partnership between the departments, you only have to contact your prospective local supervisor prior to your stay. Studijní výjezdy do Francouzské národní knihovny

Katedra filosofie a Centrum pro etiku podporují studenty i akademické pracovníky k realizaci pobytu ve Francouzské národní knihovně v Paříži (BnF). Cílem zahraniční cesty je pokročení v psaní výstupní práce, článku nebo studie. Znalost francouzského jazyka není podmínkou, ale výhodou – kromě francouzštiny totiž fondy BnF uchovávají knihy, sborníky, revue a další média v originálních jazycích (angličtina, němčina, ruština etc.).
